John Deasy at Swan Net Gundry’s Union Hall depot is featured in BIM’s  “The Right Catch “for his part in supplying clean net cut off’s to a bag manufacturing company based in Kinsale.  Mamukko Ltd. manufacture bags and other products from selected reclaimed marine items such as sails, life rafts and nets.  This is an effective and novel way of using up net ends which would otherwise be classed as rubbish to be disposed of.

Pelagic & Whitefish Nets are manufactured and repaired at all of SNG’s depots around the country including Union Hall, Castletownbere, Rossaveal and at the headquarters in Killybegs Co Donegal.  Each Swan Net Gundry depot supplies the fishing industry with everything from nets, safety equipment, marine clothing and marine hardware to chandlery,  ropes and chains.

A new state of the art modern retail outlet has been opened in Killybegs.  This new facility is located on the shore front overlooking the harbour & marina giving easy access to local and visiting vessels to the town.
