EHS Manager

Kieran, our EHS Manager, ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations and fosters a positive safety culture. Payroll/HR

As the HR Manager, Clodagh oversees HR practices, recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement, and performance management. As the Payroll Manager, she ensures end-to-end payroll processing compliance with legislation and tax obligations. 

Clodagh's motivation stems from her passion for fostering employee engagement to drive continuous improvement and profitable growth within the company. 

Clodagh is currently pursuing a CIPD accredited Diploma in Human Resources and Employment Law, supported by the company, enhancing her role and contributions to the HR function.

Jim Moloney

 Union Hall Depot Manager

Jim is the dedicated Union Hall Depot Manager at SNG, bringing over 40 years of experience in whitefish trawl manufacturing. 

In his role, Jim oversees the day-to-day operations of the SNG Union Hall Depot with a focus on customer engagement and training local individuals in netmaking.

With a notable background in working with prominent whitefish vessels on the Irish coast, Jim has received exceptional feedback from skippers for his expertise in whitefish trawls. His commitment to training and mentoring team members in netmaking skills upholds the high standards set by the company and contributes to the team's success.

Cathal Boyle

Fishing Design Manager

Cathal is responsible for overseeing all new Trawl designs for Pelagic & Whitefish to ensure accuracy and completeness before they are ready for production.  

Cathal gets his motivation from a good design, that works well, receives positive feedback, and makes skippers happy. 

Cathal's notable achievements include pioneering the system for drawing and saving designs using AutoCAD 25 years ago, establishing the Shetland Depot for customer service, leading the L&R lay twine Pelagic Trawl designs and introducing new Prawn Trawl designs to the market.

Cathal has years of experience in all aspects of Trawl making and deep knowledge of Trawl design. 

Andrew Barrett

Assistant Production Manager

Andrew, our Production Manager, leads daily operations in the Roshine Rd Production and repair department and the Shetland repair depot. 

His motivation stems from working with the production team, driving growth and innovation. With exceptional organisational skills and a collaborative approach, 

Andrew is a valuable asset to our company, contributing to our success and excellence in the fishing industry.

Kieran McBrearty

Sales & Design

Kieran is a standout Demersal Design & Sales professional renowned for his innovative product solutions within the Demersal Industry.

His proficiency in design programs such as Autocad, Cad Trawl, and Dynamit, combined with collaborative efforts with southern depots and the design team in Killybegs, has been instrumental in driving the team's success.

Pia Bach

Design Technician

As a Design Technician at SNG, Pia Bach plays a pivotal role in supporting the design team by utilising her problem-solving skills, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning. 

She is dedicated to contributing her expertise to the development of innovative designs and solutions.

With valuable insights from his tenure as a Depot Manager in the USA, Damien's expertise, commitment to customer satisfaction, and collaborative approach are instrumental in driving success in the Pelagic sales department.

SNG Sports Manager

Martin, the Manager of Coastal Cages Ltd/SNG Sports, has been a pivotal member of the company since February 2001.

With a diverse background in Retail, Fish processing, and Refrigeration engineering, Martin brings a wealth of experience to his role.

Moving from Net maker to Sales and eventually taking over the Management and Daily operations in June 2010, Martin has showcased his expertise in Net Design, AutoCAD, Sales management, and more. His motivation stems from delivering top-quality products to customers and training workers to excel in net making.

Shaun Kelly

Business Development Specialist

Shaun, our Business Development specialist at SNG, excels in sports netting sales and customer relationships.

With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, Shaun's leadership in pushing boundaries in sports netting solutions is evident in projects like the 20m high Lattice Towers ballstop netting at Douglas Golf Club.
